The Ceremony

We are planning to hold the wedding ceremony at 2:00 PM on December 1st, on the beach just outside the resort. After the ceremony, guests can enjoy drinks and snacks while photos are being taken. As we gather to watch the sun set over the ocean, dinner will be served, followed by speeches. Then we’ll head to the bar to dance and celebrate into the night.

We are heading to Thailand at the end of the monsoon season, so there is a chance that rain forces us to change plans. We will have a rainy day backup in this case or potentially move the ceremony to the day before. We will know closer to the date.

What to wear

Thailand weather will be warm and humid so we do not expect you to be wearing suits and heels.

For men, we suggest lightweight fabrics, such as linens, a thin collared shirt (no singlets!) and semi-formal shorts or pants. Aim for light colours (e.g. white shirt, beige pants).

For women, feel free to find a light airy summer dress or other semi formal outfit that is comfortable for you. In terms of colours, think lush forest greens with splashes of white and pink orchids. No loud patterns please.
